OceanJet departures, 2 to 30 November 2026: four each way, every day
Montenegro Shipping Lines Montenegro's website lists Dumaguete–Siquijor departure times and a regular fare of ₱260, with student, senior/PWD and child rates, and warns that times are subject to change without notice. It does not say on which days those times run, so they are not on this board. Montenegro's Dumaguete office is on Flores Avenue, Looc: (035) 422-3632 or 0939-910-8490.
Aleson Shipping Lines Aleson's website prints a Dumaguete–Siquijor table for MV Ciara Joie 3 without an effective date. In August 2026 MARINA said Aleson's fleet had been suspended for almost six months and that its ships were being cleared to sail one at a time after inspection. Ask Aleson whether that ship is back on the route before relying on it.
Cancelled sailings OceanJet refunds the full ticket value when it cancels a voyage itself, or carries you by other reasonable means. Its travel advisories page at oceanjet.net is where it posts cancellations.
Map – Dumaguete – Siquijor ferry
| Ticket type | Price |
|---|---|
| Tourist Class or Open Air seat, adult, one way (booking fee extra online) | ₱420 |
| Business Class seat, adult, one way (booking fee extra online) | ₱700 |
One-way adult prices shown by OceanJet's booking site for November 2026 dates, the same from either port. An online booking fee appears once passenger details are entered; OceanJet does not publish its amount and does not refund it. The results show no separate port terminal fee for this crossing, so none is added here; anything collected at Dumaguete or Siquijor port would come on top. Senior citizen, PWD and student fares are for Filipino nationals whose ID is verified when booking. All fares in Philippine pesos (PHP).
OceanJet, the fast-craft brand of Ocean Fast Ferries, Inc., connects Dumaguete Port in Negros Oriental with Siquijor Port in the town of Siquijor. Its booking site shows four departures in each direction on every date it had on sale from 30 October to 30 November 2026, and that is the grid on the board. Daytime crossings are listed at 40 minutes; the evening boat from Dumaguete takes 50.
Check the port on your ticket. OceanJet sells Lazi as a separate Siquijor destination on other routes, and Montenegro and Lite list Larena on Siquijor as well, so a boat to Siquijor island does not always end in Siquijor town.
An adult pays ₱420 one way in Tourist Class or Open Air, which cost the same, and ₱700 in Business Class. Online, OceanJet adds a booking fee once you have entered passenger details, and it keeps that fee if you later cancel. Senior citizen, PWD and student discounts are limited to Filipino nationals and need an ID that the site verifies while you book.
Timing matters at the Dumaguete end. OceanJet's office in the port area at Looc opens from 5 am to 6:30 pm, so it has already closed when the last departure of the day leaves for Siquijor; buy that ticket online or earlier in the day. The Siquijor office in North Poblacion opens at 4:30 am, ahead of the first boat to Dumaguete. Whichever way you travel, check in at least 30 minutes before sailing with an ID in the same name as the ticket.
In Tourist and Open Air 10 kg of luggage travels free and trolleys or collapsible bags must be handed in at check-in; Business Class passengers get 20 kg. OceanJet's February 2026 baggage table charges excess on this crossing from ₱10 per kilo, and a March 2026 fuel advisory announced a temporary 20% increase on excess baggage, so confirm the rate at the counter. Pets travel crated in the open-air area with a Bureau of Animal Industry quarantine permit.
Montenegro Shipping Lines also sails Dumaguete–Siquijor at ₱260 but publishes no operating days, and the status of Aleson's MV Ciara Joie 3 is unclear.
- Arrive at the port well before departure; some shipping lines ask passengers to check in up to two hours ahead.
- Check the shipping line's advisories on the day — typhoons and storm warnings can cancel or delay trips.
- Check baggage limits and pet rules before you travel; excess baggage is charged by weight and pets need permits and a cage.
