Cokaliong's dated sailings, 2 to 8 November 2026: one evening departure, alternating between Cebu and Cagayan de Oro · Representative trips only — check the operator for today's full schedule
Lite Ferries: a separate service from Pier 1 Lite Ferries (Lite Shipping Corporation) also lists Cebu City–Cagayan de Oro sailings on its own schedule page, from Port of Cebu Passenger Terminal 1 at Pier 1 rather than Pier 4. It sells its own tickets; its times are not on this board and its schedule page gives no passenger fares.
Checking for changes Cokaliong's website has no advisory page. Before going to Pier 4, call (032) 232-7211 or look at the company's Facebook page, which its website links to.

Rates from Cokaliong's Schedules & Rates page for MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro; the table is the same in both directions. Rows marked per room are the price of the whole cabin, whatever the number of occupants. Cokaliong's FAQ says infants up to 2 years old travel free and children aged 3 to 11 get 50% off the regular fare; senior citizen and student discounts need the IDs the FAQ lists. Port terminal fees and vehicle charges are not on the rates page, so no total is given here. All fares in Philippine pesos (PHP).
Cokaliong Shipping Lines links Cebu City with the port of Cagayan de Oro using one overnight passenger ship, MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro. It does not sail every day. Cokaliong publishes the route as a list of dated departures, and on the dates it shows for early November 2026 the ship leaves Cebu one evening and Cagayan de Oro the next, with no voyage at all on Saturday 7 November. Every trip is timed at twelve hours, from an evening departure to a morning arrival, which is why the board above works date by date instead of by weekday.
Head for Pier 4, not Pier 1. Cokaliong's FAQ says its ships berth at Pier 1, near Fort San Pedro, with Cebu–Cagayan–Cebu as the one exception at Pier 4. Lite Ferries runs its own Cebu–Cagayan de Oro service from Passenger Terminal 1 at Pier 1, so check which company and which pier are printed on your ticket.
Seats and beds are sold per passenger from Economy at ₱1,686, through Lounge, Tourist and Business Class, up to the shared cabins at ₱2,400. The smaller two-berth cabins and the two suites are priced per room instead: ₱5,040 for a cabin for two, ₱5,760 for the Salay suite and ₱8,640 for the three-person Gitagum suite. Infants up to two years old travel free, and children from 3 to 11 pay half the regular fare. Senior citizens need an ID showing they are at least 60 on the sailing date.
Tickets can be bought up to two weeks before the sailing date at Cokaliong offices and authorised outlets, and the ticket doubles as the official receipt, so keep it: lost tickets are neither refunded nor reissued. You must be on board at least two hours before departure. Food is not included, but the ship has a canteen. When a voyage is fully booked, Cokaliong takes no chance passengers unless the Philippine Coast Guard allows it.
The rates page lists neither port terminal fees nor vehicle charges. On vehicles, the FAQ says only that the driver rides free when the bill of lading is at least ₱15,000; ask the head office on (032) 232-7211 before planning to ship a car.
- Arrive at the port well before departure; some shipping lines ask passengers to check in up to two hours ahead.
- Check the shipping line's advisories on the day — typhoons and storm warnings can cancel or delay trips.
- Check baggage limits and pet rules before you travel; excess baggage is charged by weight and pets need permits and a cage.
