OceanJet sailings from 2 to 30 November 2026: the same four departures each way every day

SuperCat: a second operator on this route SuperCat Fast Ferry Corporation also sails between Cebu and Ormoc. Its schedule page lists four daily departures each way, but the date-by-date list on Chelsea Travel, its booking channel, shows two to four of them depending on the day. SuperCat has its own fares and its own tickets; its times are not shown on this board.

Typhoons and storm warnings Sailings can be suspended or cancelled when storm signals are raised. OceanJet refunds the ticket value in full when it cancels a voyage itself. Check oceanjet.net or call the Ormoc office on (032) 832-1787 before you leave for the port.

Holidays OceanJet's booking site shows the normal four sailings each way on 2 November (All Souls' Day) and 30 November (Bonifacio Day) 2026.

These are the one-way adult fares OceanJet's booking site shows for every November 2026 date checked. Online, a booking fee is added after you enter passenger details; OceanJet does not publish its amount, and the booking fee is non-refundable. The site does not show any separate port terminal fee for this route, and none is listed here: ask at the terminal if one is collected. Student, PWD and senior citizen fares exist for Filipino nationals only and need a valid ID, which is checked when you book; they are not listed because OceanJet only shows them after verification. All fares in Philippine pesos (PHP).

OceanJet, the trading name of Ocean Fast Ferries, Inc., runs a fast craft between Pier 1 in Cebu City and the Port of Ormoc in Leyte. Its booking site lists four departures in each direction, at 06:00, 09:30, 13:00 and 16:30 from both ends, and gives every crossing as three hours. Those four times appear on every date from 2 to 30 November 2026, holidays included, so the board above uses them for that period.

There are three cabin types. Tourist Class and Open Air cost the same, ₱1,320 for an adult one way, and Business Class is ₱1,920. If you book online, a booking fee is added after you enter passenger details, and OceanJet keeps that fee if you later cancel. Student, PWD and senior citizen discounts are for Filipino nationals only, and the ID is checked when you book. Travellers who buy at a counter can use the OceanJet ticketing office at Pier 1, open from 4 am to 6 pm, or the Ormoc office on Ebony Street in the port area, open from 4 am to 7 pm.

Plan your luggage around the 10 kg free allowance in Tourist Class and Open Air; Business Class allows 20 kg. Trolley and collapsible bags in the two cheaper classes have to be checked in, and extra weight is charged by the kilo, from ₱20 per kilo on this route according to OceanJet's February 2026 baggage table. A fuel advisory OceanJet posted on 20 March 2026 added a temporary 20% to excess-baggage and fragile-item rates from 23 March and gives no end date, so the amount collected can be higher than the table. Pets travel in a crate in a designated open-air area, and you need a quarantine permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry.

At the port, check in at least 30 minutes before departure with a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket; tickets cannot be transferred. Pregnant passengers up to six months sign a waiver, and after that a medical certificate is needed.

SuperCat also crosses between Cebu and Ormoc, with a separate timetable, fares and booking channel, so check which company your ticket is for. When storm signals are raised, sailings can be called off at short notice. If OceanJet cancels, it refunds the ticket value in full; if you cancel yourself, part of the fare is kept, and promo or discounted tickets are not refunded.

  • Arrive at the port well before departure; some shipping lines ask passengers to check in up to two hours ahead.
  • Check the shipping line's advisories on the day — typhoons and storm warnings can cancel or delay trips.
  • Check baggage limits and pet rules before you travel; excess baggage is charged by weight and pets need permits and a cage.
