Economy, Tourist and the shared-cabin berth cost the same on both ships; Lounge exists only on MV Filipinas Cebu, Business Class and the private two-berth cabins only on MV Filipinas Nasipit. Prices marked per room cover the whole room, not each occupant. Under Cokaliong's FAQ, children up to 2 travel free and children aged 3 to 11 pay half the regular fare. Terminal fees at Cebu and Iloilo and vehicle charges are not published, so the figures below are listed fares, not totals. All fares in Philippine pesos (PHP).

Cokaliong Shipping Lines runs the overnight voyage on this page between Cebu City and Iloilo City. It is not a daily ferry. In the dates Cokaliong lists for early November 2026 there are just two return trips: out of Cebu on Thursday 5 November and back from Iloilo on Friday 6 November, then out of Cebu on Sunday 8 November and back on Monday 9 November. Each leg leaves at 19:00 and is planned to arrive at 07:00, twelve hours later. Outside those evenings the board shows no departure, so match your plans to a listed date rather than to a weekday.

The route is shared by two ships that are fitted out differently. MV Filipinas Nasipit, on the 5 and 6 November voyages, has Business Class beds in a large shared room, cabins of 4 to 14 berths, private two-berth cabins at ₱5,320 per room and a suite for three at ₱8,400. MV Filipinas Cebu, on the 8 and 9 November voyages, swaps Business Class for a Lounge at ₱2,100 and has six-berth cabins. Economy at ₱1,960, Tourist at ₱2,163, a berth in a shared cabin at ₱2,520 and a suite for two at ₱5,600 per room are priced the same on both.

In Cebu the ship uses Pier 1, close to Fort San Pedro, which Cokaliong's FAQ names as the berth for all its routes except Cagayan de Oro. In Iloilo, Cokaliong is represented by Charles B. Shipping Agency, whose office is in the PPA terminal building at Fort San Pedro and opens daily from 8:30 am to 7 pm. The contact page also lists outlets in The Atrium on General Luna Street and at SM on Benigno Aquino Avenue in Mandurriao. Plan to be aboard two hours before sailing.

Tickets go on sale no more than two weeks ahead. Students show a school ID validated for the current term, or a verifiable study load; senior citizens need an ID proving they are at least 60 on the travel date. Children aged 3 to 11 pay half, and those up to 2 travel free. Meals are not included; the ships have canteens. Terminal fees and vehicle rates are not published, so the prices above are listed fares only.

  • Arrive at the port well before departure; some shipping lines ask passengers to check in up to two hours ahead.
  • Check the shipping line's advisories on the day — typhoons and storm warnings can cancel or delay trips.
  • Check baggage limits and pet rules before you travel; excess baggage is charged by weight and pets need permits and a cage.
